Reach, reach out your hand;
Show the world an act that they’ll understand.
Tell us, tell us our goal;
What good is it to gain the world, and forfeit your soul?
Everything you have been teaching,
It all goes against this, senseless
Intensification of cash.
You are a glutton,
So greedy that you prey on the needy;
You squeeze them dry and then you bid them goodbye.
Shine your dimes and your diamonds,
While they aren’t all looking behind them;
Clutch them, and squeeze out their worth.
Rob and ransack the people of earth;
Make them climb, make them work;
Lure them in with your promises.
We all wander through a fog,
Thinking up new gods,
The architect of space,
The one who made this place.
It’s like a big black hole;
It’s taken in my soul,
Like how you stole from me.
Break in, break in, break in, break in…
Steal, all that you can carry;
Keep the operation going.
Hoard, all donations taken,
All the conscripts are forsaken.
Bait, lure in the masses;
Get them while they’re passive.
Switch, when they find it is a lie,
Push them out the door, it’s goodbye.
The road up to life
Is treacherous,
And there are the few
Who find the way, to life.
Reach, reach out your hand;
Show the world an act that they’ll understand.
Tell us, tell us our goal;
What good is it to gain the world, and forfeit your soul?
Lure them in, with your lies that rhyme;
Keep them here, with your ties that bind.
You who put a price tag on salvation,
You are starving out our great nation.
If someone needs your help to find the way,
Jump at the chance; lead them astray.
A shrinking culture, amassing more land,
Behold, the king of the greatest wasteland.
We all wander through a fog,
Thinking up new gods,
The architect of space,
The one who made this place.
Your hand is a black hole,
Outstretched always asking for more;
Take all that you see.
You’ve stolen everything
From me.
Whispers, deep in my head, fight;
They disagree;
They want what was
Taken from me.
Subversive questions
Rolling around in my head.
Reach, reach out your hand;
Show the world an act that they’ll understand.
Tell us, tell us our goal;
What good is it to gain the world, and forfeit your soul?
Somehow I’ll find a way through,
A way to make our breakthrough.
Somehow the moral was lost;
This comes at the greatest of costs.
